Faith, Finance & Legacy: PCB Launches New Podcast and Celebrates Black History Month
The Pentecostal Community Bank (PCB) continues to blend faith, purpose and financial empowerment in the latest edition of PCB Shares.
This issue introduces Faith & Finance, PCB’s very first podcast series hosted by Brenda Emmanus OBE and produced by Damilola Okeke. Featuring inspiring guests such as Hayley Mulenda, Emmanuel Asuquo, and Muyiwa Olarewaju OBE, the series explores how faith shapes our approach to money, purpose and community. It’s more than a podcast — it’s a movement designed to spark honest, uplifting conversations about building wealth with purpose and living out financial faith in action.
As we also mark Black History Month 2025, themed “Standing Firm in Power and Pride,” PCB reflects on its roots — from Rev. Carmel Jones’s founding of the Pentecostal Credit Union in 1980 to today’s thriving community bank. The story of PCB is one of resilience, vision, and the ongoing quest for Black economic empowerment — a legacy built on faith, unity and determination.
Together, these features remind us that true prosperity is both spiritual and practical — grounded in stewardship, solidarity and service.
